Procrastination

Hi guys,

I’m struggling to get on with the reading in Hemingway’s list. Everyone is telling me how wonderful these authors are, yet I had to give myself a stern talking to to finish Madame Bovary!

I don’t know about you but I’m bored out of my skull.

But you have to finish what you start right? Some know-it-all perfect person said that, but it is very difficult for us mere mortals. So, I’m straightening my back, or my gown (I’m not dressed yet and it’s already mid-day), and putting on my stiff upper lip (oh dear I just hope it doesn’t fall off somewhere).

If you’re coughing it’s because I’m dusting off these old tomes. And I’m ready to read again.

  1. I’ve never read any works by Gustave Flaubert but I found myself curious about Madame Bovary, in Hemingway’s list nogal:). I’ll leave the onus to you…*cough*, a motivation to finish the story, so you can tell us about it…Happy Reading!
